Friday, July 16th
NOTE ( all events on this day are optional )
* Sponsors tournament. ( starts at 12:30 p.m. )
* Practice round for those not playing in the sponsors tourney. ( call for tee time )
* Drawdown ticket sales. ( all day )
* Pick up gift bags any time. ( shirt, balls, refreshment tickets, plus other goodies )
* Skills contest, putting contest, skee ball putting. ( starts at 5:30 p.m. )
* 50/50 ticket sales, mulligan sales ( starts at 5:30 p.m. )
* Free food and beer. ( from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. )
* Special tournament sales for teams not sold. ( starts at 8:00 p.m. )
Saturday, July 17th
* Mulligan sales ( starting at 7:00 a.m. )
* Free continental breakfast. ( from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. )
* 1st round of tournament. ( tee times ) ( starts at 8:30 a.m. )
( front 9 ~ modified best ball net )
( back 9 ~ best ball gross & best ball net combined )
* Free refreshments on the course with tickets from gift bags.
* Prize awards for 1st round winners. ( shortly after the 1st round )
* Beach party at the pool with pig-pickin, dancing, and games. ( starts at 7:30 p.m. )
* Drawdown ticket drawing ( starts at 8:00 p.m. )
Sunday, July 18th
* Free continental breakfast. ( from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. )
* 2nd round of tournament. ( shotgun start ) ( starts at 8:00 a.m. )
( front 9 ~ modified best ball gross )
( back 9 ~ modified best ball net & modified best ball gross combined )
* Free refreshments on the course with tickets from gift bags.
* Prize awards for 2nd round and overall winners. ( shortly after the 2nd round )
Additional Tournament Information
Field limited to 72 teams.
Member handicaps as of July 15th.
Guest handicaps must be USGA verified. If no USGA handicap is available,
the PKMGA committee reserves the right to set the guest's handicap
based on the information received about the guest's ability.
Tournament prize money based on the number of players.
Flights of 10 to 13 teams based on total handicap.
$1700.00 in tournament prize money for each flight. ( $850.00 paid each day )
Tournament prize money will be paid in gift certificates.
5 places paid in each flight.
$100.00 gift certificates each to overall two day combined winners.
Closest to pin winners will receive a dozen balls.
Special tournament prize money, ( paid each day )
will be one half of each flights total amount.
4 places paid per day in each flight.
Special tournament places based on best ball net. ( each day )
Special tournament prize money will be paid in cash.
All ties for $ will be determined by a card playoff.
Players qualified to play the gold tees will play those tees.
All other players will play the white tees.
Scorecards will be marked for the gold tee qualifiers.
Gold tee qualifiers must be 55 years or older with a handicap of 18 or higher.
