Player Of The Year

For the first time ever, the Pine Knolls Men's Golf Association is

going to give a Player of the Year award to the best Tournament

player. Each player will be given points based on where they

finish within their flight for each Tournament that they play in.

Rules

You must play in a minimum of six total Tournaments to qualify.

You must play in all four Major Tournaments.

Member ~ Member ( April )

Handicap Championship ( June )

Club Championship ( Aug. )

Member ~ Member ( Oct. )

If you play in more than six Tournaments, your best six finishes

will apply. In other words, the more Tournaments you play in,

the better your chances are to win.

In the event of a tie during a Tournament, all

players / teams will receive their full points.

Points System

Four Man Team Events

( Excluding the Christmas Classic )

1st Place Team ~ 5 points for each player

2nd Place Team ~ 4 points for each player

3rd Place Team ~ 3 points for each player

4th Place Team ~ 2 points for each player

5th Place Team ~ 1 point for each player

Two Man Team Events ( each flight )

( Excluding the November Tournament )

1st Place Team ~ 5 points for each player

2nd Place Team ~ 4 points for each player

3rd Place Team ~ 3 points for each player

4th Place Team ~ 2 points for each player

5th Place Team ~ 1 point for each player

Individual Events ( each flight )

( Unless Noted Otherwise )

1st Place ~ 5 points

2nd Place ~ 4 points

3rd Place ~ 3 points

4th Place ~ 2 points

5th Place ~ 1 point

( Awarded to the top 5 gross & top 5 net )
